The goal is not simply to make a tight cavity. An overly tight insert can damage paint or place constant pressure on a thin component.

Control Movement Inside the Box

Good packaging limits movement without crushing the product. Accessories are separated, painted surfaces are protected and empty spaces are controlled. The retail box is then placed in an inner or export carton appropriate to the shipment.

For multi-piece collections, cavity arrangement also affects carton volume and freight cost. Packaging engineering therefore influences both protection and landed cost.

Review Carton Loading

Export cartons must withstand stacking and handling. We review carton dimensions, gross weight, internal arrangement and closure method. Heavy items should not be allowed to move and strike lighter pieces within the same carton.

Shipping by courier, air or sea creates different handling and cost conditions. The final packing plan should match the selected logistics route.

When Transport Testing Is Appropriate

For fragile, high-value or large projects, a project-specific drop or transport-simulation test may be useful. The applicable method, sample condition, drop height, sequence and acceptance criteria must be agreed for the actual packed product.

Sustainable Options Require Trade-Offs

Paper-based or molded-pulp options may reduce plastic use, but they must still protect the actual product. Material choice should consider fragility, humidity, presentation, destination requirements and carton efficiency. “Eco-friendly” should not be used as a blanket claim without specifying the material and evidence.

Can Different Products Ship Together?

Yes. Resin products may be consolidated with magnets, keychains and other souvenirs when production schedules, packing requirements and shipping arrangements are compatible. This can reduce duplicate handling or freight, but actual savings depend on weight, carton volume, destination and delivery date.
