Manufacturing Capabilities
Custom Manufacturing in Polyresin, Soft PVC & Metal
TUOYUAN develops custom souvenirs, gifts and branded merchandise through coordinated manufacturing in polyresin, soft PVC and metal. Each material follows a different production route, while project communication, sample approval, quality checks and packing remain coordinated around the buyer’s requirements.
Material Selection & Design Considerations
Material selection depends on the required detail, flexibility, weight, surface finish, intended use and target presentation. A single collection may also combine more than one material when the product concept requires it.
Polyresin Manufacturing
Suitable for sculpted forms, character figures, dimensional souvenirs and hand-painted decorative products where shape and surface detail are important.
Soft PVC Manufacturing
Suitable for flexible, colorful and layered products such as keychains, magnets, coasters, bar mats and compact promotional items.
Metal Manufacturing
Suitable for badges, coins, keychains, bottle openers and other products that require defined edges, weight, plating or enamel-style color finishes.
Development & Production Route
The exact route varies by material and product structure, but most custom projects pass through the following commercial and production checkpoints.
01
Project Requirements
Share the product type, intended use, size, quantity, target market, reference images and required delivery date.
02
Artwork Review
We review logos, drawings, color references, dimensional requirements and any branding or packaging instructions.
03
Material Recommendation
Material and process options are discussed according to detail, flexibility, weight, finish, function and budget priorities.
04
Quotation
Pricing is prepared around the confirmed specification, tooling, order quantity, packing and commercial terms.
05
Prototype or Sample
A prototype, unpainted model, color sample or finished sample is prepared as appropriate for the product.
06
Revisions
Required changes to shape, color, structure, attachment or packaging are recorded and reviewed before approval.
07
Approved Reference Sample
The approved sample and specification become the reference for production and quality inspection.
08
Production & Inspection
Production follows the approved reference, with checks appropriate to the product's appearance, structure and function.
09
Packing & Shipment
Products are packed according to their shape, fragility and presentation requirements before shipment arrangements are confirmed.
Polyresin Manufacturing
Polyresin is commonly selected for dimensional products that depend on sculpted form, surface texture and hand-applied finishing. The following stages show a typical route; individual projects may require additional assembly or finishing steps.

STEP 01
Sculpting or 3D Development
The form is developed from approved artwork, drawings or reference images.

STEP 02
Mold Making
Molds are prepared around the approved master model and planned product structure.

STEP 03
Casting & Degassing
Resin is cast and air is removed where required to reduce avoidable voids. Temperature and cure control are part of this step — see how temperature affects polyresin casting quality.

STEP 04
Trimming & Surface Preparation
Casting lines and excess material are removed before finishing.

STEP 05
Painting & Assembly
Base colors, hand-painted details and separate components are completed according to the approved sample.

STEP 06
Inspection & Packing
Appearance, stability, assembly and packing protection are checked before shipment.
Soft PVC Manufacturing
Soft PVC supports flexible shapes, layered relief and strong color separation. Product thickness, relief level, color count, attachment and back structure should be confirmed before tooling.

STEP 01
Artwork & Structure Setup
The design is converted into production artwork with defined layers, colors and attachment points.

STEP 02
Mold Preparation
The mold is prepared according to the approved dimensions and relief structure.

STEP 03
Color Mixing
PVC colors are mixed against the confirmed color references.

STEP 04
Dispensing & Forming
Colors are applied in sequence and formed according to the mold design.

STEP 05
Demolding & Trimming
The product is removed from the mold and excess edges are trimmed.

STEP 06
Assembly
Magnets, rings, chains, openers or other approved components are fitted.

STEP 07
Final Inspection & Packing
Color, surface, structure, attachment and packing are checked before shipment.
Metal Manufacturing
Metal products do not all follow one identical route. The manufacturing method is selected according to the product shape, thickness, relief, edge definition, functional requirement and finish.

Die Casting
For dimensional zinc alloy parts, defined relief and integrated product shapes.

Stamping
For flatter metal parts, badges, coins and designs formed from sheet material.

CNC or Laser Processing
For selected cutting, engraving, machining or tooling requirements.
Subsequent Production Stages

STEP 01
Deburring & Polishing
Edges and surfaces are prepared for the required finish.

STEP 02
Plating or Surface Finish
The confirmed metal tone or protective surface treatment is applied.

STEP 03
Color Application
Enamel-style color, printing, epoxy or other selected effects are added where required.

STEP 04
Assembly & Functional Check
Pins, rings, magnets, openers or moving structures are assembled and checked.

STEP 05
Inspection & Packing
Finish, color, attachment, function and packing presentation are reviewed.
Quality, Finishing & Packaging
Inspection criteria are defined around the approved sample, product specification, function and packing requirement rather than a single generic checklist for every item. Material and finish testing, including third-party test reports and inspection documentation, is handled separately.
Appearance & Color
Surface condition, color placement, printed details, painted areas and visible finishing are compared with the approved reference.
Structure & Function
Assembly, attachments, moving parts, magnetic holding, opening function or base stability are checked where relevant.
Packing Protection
Packing is selected according to product weight, protruding parts, surface sensitivity, breakage risk and retail presentation requirements.
Final Product & Display Solution
When required, the finished product can be reviewed together with inserts, gift boxes, counter displays or coordinated collection packaging.
Manufacturing Frequently Asked Questions
Can one project combine polyresin, soft PVC and metal products?+
Yes. A coordinated collection can include more than one material. Specifications, tooling, samples, packing and shipment planning are confirmed for each product within the project.
Does every product follow the same manufacturing process?+
No. The route depends on the material, shape, structure, finish and function. The process images on this page show typical production stages rather than a mandatory sequence for every item.
What should we provide for an initial review?+
Please provide the product idea, artwork or reference images, intended size, quantity, target market, required function, packaging expectations and requested delivery date where available.
Can a sample be revised before production?+
Yes. Required revisions are reviewed before the final reference sample and production specification are approved.
How are payment terms confirmed?+
Payment terms are confirmed according to the project, order value and commercial agreement.
Can project information be kept confidential?+
Yes. Project files and unpublished product information can be handled under agreed confidentiality arrangements, and an NDA can be discussed when required.
