Polyresin or Soft PVC?
Both materials are developed for custom figurines, but they suit different design directions. The final choice is confirmed after reviewing the artwork, target size and intended use.
Polyresin
Polyresin is well suited to sculpted volume, realistic or detailed forms, irregular textures, miniature scenes and hand-painted collectible figures.
Suitable for realistic figurines, detailed characters, animals, professional figures, architecture, vehicles, miniature scenes, custom bases and hand-painted collectibles.
Soft PVC
Soft PVC is better suited to colorful mascots, cartoon characters and compact fully dimensional figures where flexibility, clear color separation and durability are important.
Suitable for mascots, cartoon characters, stylized figures, promotional characters, compact 3D figures and colorful character forms.
Soft PVC structure can be developed as 2D, layered or full 3D forms according to the design, with PMS / Pantone references used where applicable; complex 3D structures may require multi-part molding and assembly, and the final structure and color are confirmed through approved samples.

Development & Sample Approval
Production artwork, a 3D model or a master sculpture is developed from the approved reference depending on the project.
Structure, proportions, part separation and assembly are reviewed before physical sampling.
A physical sample can then be produced to confirm dimensions, likeness, pose, material, color, painted detail, balance, assembly and packaging.
Typical sample lead time for both polyresin and soft PVC figurines is 7–10 working days.
3D modeling, sample and tooling costs are quoted according to the product specifications, structure and design complexity. Where applicable, mold or tooling costs may be credited or refunded when the order reaches the qualifying quantity specified in the quotation.
When 3D modeling is part of the project, the digital model and key structural details can be reviewed before tooling or physical sampling where applicable. Revisions are reviewed against the approved references during development and sample approval.
Proportion, Stability & Painted Detail
Inspection and packaging requirements are defined according to the final design, materials and shipping conditions.
Model Accuracy
Compare key proportions, costume elements, accessories and brand details with the approved reference.
Base Stability
Check the center of gravity, contact points and assembly between the figure and base.
Painted Detail
Review facial features, boundaries, shading and repeated color placement against the approved sample.
Fragile Parts
Thin limbs, accessories, antlers, tools and other protruding parts should be reviewed for production strength and packaging protection. Inner protection is selected according to the finished product design.
Hand-painted polyresin products may show controlled minor variation in brushwork, shading and color placement. Mass-production acceptance should be based on the approved physical sample and agreed inspection standard.
Compliance Support
Compliance support is available according to the product, material, intended use and destination market. Relevant material reports, third-party testing or customer-program documentation can be reviewed according to the specific project and applicable scope.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about developing a custom figurine or miniature project.
Which material should I choose: polyresin or soft PVC?+
Polyresin is suitable for sculpted detail, realistic forms, irregular textures, miniature scenes and hand-painted collectible figures. Soft PVC is better suited to colorful mascots, cartoon characters and compact 3D figures where flexibility and clear color separation are important. We can recommend the material after reviewing your artwork, target size and intended use.
What is the minimum order quantity for custom figurines?+
MOQ depends on the selected material.
- Polyresin figurines: the minimum order quantity ranges from 200–500 pieces per design, depending on size, structure and complexity.
- Soft PVC figurines: 500 pieces per design.
Can you create a figurine from photographs or reference images?+
Yes. Figurines can be developed from photographs, illustrations, sketches, character artwork or other reference materials. Multiple viewing angles are strongly recommended when the design needs to reproduce a specific person, character, animal or object.
What artwork and 3D file formats do you accept?+
Vector artwork such as AI, EPS or SVG is preferred. We can also review high-resolution PDF, JPG or PNG files, preferably at 300 dpi or higher.
Existing 3D files such as STL, OBJ or STEP can also be reviewed when available.
Can you create props, custom bases or miniature scenes?+
Yes. Projects can include characters, animals, vehicles, furniture, architecture, accessories, custom bases and miniature environments. Complex structures are reviewed for part separation, assembly, stability and mold feasibility before sampling.
Can I review the 3D model before a physical sample is made?+
When 3D modeling is part of the project, the digital model and key structural details can be reviewed before tooling or physical sampling where applicable. Revisions are evaluated against the approved references and production requirements.
How long does sampling take?+
Typical sample lead time for both polyresin and soft PVC figurines is 7–10 working days.
3D modeling, sample and tooling costs depend on the product specifications, structure and design complexity. Where applicable, mold or tooling costs may be credited or refunded when the order reaches the qualifying quantity specified in the quotation.
Will hand-painted polyresin figurines be completely identical?+
Hand-painted polyresin products may show controlled minor variation in brushwork, shading and color placement. Production should be evaluated against the approved physical sample and agreed inspection standard rather than expecting every hand-painted piece to be visually identical.
How long does mass production take?+
Typical production time for both polyresin and soft PVC figurines is 15–30 working days after the required production details and approved sample have been confirmed.
Complex structures, larger quantities, detailed hand painting or customized packaging may require additional production time.
If you have a fixed delivery date, please provide it when requesting a quotation so we can evaluate the production schedule.
How are fragile parts protected during packaging?+
Thin limbs, accessories, protruding parts and painted surfaces are reviewed together with the packaging structure. Inner protection, product orientation and retail or shipping packaging are selected according to the finished product design and transportation requirements.
What information should I provide for an initial figurine review?+
Provide available artwork or photographs, front and side references where possible, preferred style, pose, target height, base requirements, quantity, packaging expectations and target delivery date. Missing details can be reviewed during project evaluation.
