CASE STUDIES
Aquarium & Water Park Souvenir Collection
Updated August 28, 2026
Project Overview
This program developed a coordinated souvenir collection for an aquarium and water park environment, spanning soft PVC, zinc alloy and hand-painted polyresin formats in high-saturation marine colors. The range was planned as one visual family so that retail displays across the destination read as a complete collection rather than separate items.
Project Goal
The objective was to give the destination a souvenir range that matched its marine theme, worked across different retail price points and could be produced and stocked as a coordinated program. Each product format was selected for a specific retail role, from entry-price keychains, magnets and luggage tags to higher-value display pieces.
Product Composition
- Soft PVC letter animal keychains — six alphabet animal designs (G, F, R, B, O, E)
- Soft PVC marine animal keychains — shark, penguin and octopus in playful soft formats
- Polyresin marine animal fridge magnets — white whale and whale shark designs
- Polyresin pufferfish figurine — hand-finished sculpted marine character
- Polyresin marine animal water globes — six ocean themes with glitter-filled globes

Material & Process Decisions
- Soft PVC: 2D or shallow relief, continuous outline, zoned coloring and raised rubber lines; thin floating details are avoided to keep the mold clean.
- Zinc alloy: die-cast structure with colored enamel effect; line width and fill areas are kept controlled for a crisp result.
- Resin: cast resin with hand painting, keeping light brush strokes and hand-painted variation for a natural finish.
- The water park resin tower is treated as a mid-to-high price display piece; structure, mold and packaging drop assessment are completed before mass production.
Key Development Questions
The project was reviewed around how each material handled the marine theme, which retail price points each format supported, and how the collection would be presented and packed together. Confirming the shared visual direction before tooling kept the three material routes aligned in color and style.
Note: destination names used in concept artwork are for planning purposes only; trademark search is required before commercial use.
