Multi-Material Corporate Gift Set Development Case Study
Updated August 28, 2026
Project Overview
This project developed a coordinated multi-product corporate gift box for a European business gift and retail customer. The set combined a soft PVC keychain, zinc alloy enamel badges, magnets/cards, a small cup-shaped accessory and retail packaging into one system, built around the theme “MOOD TO GO – TAKE YOUR MOOD, ANYWHERE YOU GO”.
Instead of placing several regular gifts into a box, the goal was a complete system covering theme, graphics, color, product mix, packaging and counter display. Reference gift box size: 120 x 160 x 30 mm.
Phase 1 – Theme Positioning and Product Mix
The project started from the emotion the gift box should convey – light, friendly and portable – rather than from individual products. A soft and energetic color system was set: coral red, cream white, yellow, mint green, light blue and light purple.
Each item works individually and together as one story.
Phase 2 – Visual System and Packaging Structure
Product graphics and packaging were developed together. Visual rules included unified rounded outlines and friendly expressions, controlled black outline weight so soft PVC, metal and printed parts look similar in visual weight, unified color relationships, and front/size/color zoning for each product.
Packaging engineering covered the 120 x 160 x 30 mm box die line, board thickness, folding and glue points, PET window sizing and anti-detachment structure, five product cavities with depth and clearance, scratch protection between keyring and products, inside-cover theme printing, and the counter display box with front height, back panel and restocking convenience.
Phase 3 – Multi-Material Process Planning
The core challenge: one gift box contains soft PVC, zinc alloy, magnetic or paper parts and packaging materials, and each material renders color, lines and details differently.

Magnets, Cards and Cup Accessories
What This Project Demonstrates
This case shows how soft PVC, zinc alloy, printed components and retail packaging can be coordinated into a single multi-material gift system, from theme and graphics to material process planning, sample validation and counter-ready packaging.
Note: project name and theme details require confirmation before public use.
